Americans for the Arts
There's been a lot of buzz lately about coaching and I thought I'd extend this invitation to anyone who is interested in finding out more about and actually experiencing peer coaching circles. You'll have an opportunity to find out more at the 2008 Annual Convention in June.
Finding time to rejuvenate ourselves is a constant challenge when we commit our personal and professional lives to nurturing others. Are you asking yourself the difficult questions about your career? Trying to find a life-work balance? Put yourself in a solution-focused state of mind for the annual conference at this Advance Workshop.
Personal Evolution: Peer-Coaching Circles Thursday, June 19 1:30 to 5:00pm at the Americans for the Arts Annual Convention in Philadelphia. Space is limited to 50 people.
You can add this Advance Workshop to your regular convention registration for an additional $125 for members and $150 for nonmembers. This is your time for personal renewal in a safe and supportive environment. Certified coaches working in peer circles will candidly and confidentially help guide your work toward a sense of balance. Treat yourself to a mini-sabbatical, develop a peer-support network, and prepare for a more personally meaningful convention experience.
Coaches:
- Ann Daly, Principal, Ann Daly Consulting
- Amy Kweskin Duncan, Consultant, Arts Management Consulting
- Julia McBride, President, Coach Julia, Inc
- Victoria Saunders, Principal, Victoria J. Saunders Consulting
- Dan "Dewey" Schott, Principal, Next Step Consulting
Feel free to contact any of the coaches listed above or Rebecca Borden at [email protected].

I think this is an awesome opportunity for emerging leaders. Having been priveldged to participate in a few coaching sessions I always find myself reinvigorated and better focused afterwards. I only wish I was able to attend the Annual Convention this year.
We're super excited to offer this workshop - it has evolved out of what we heard leaders requesting at the 2007 convention - personal evolution opportunties, soft skill development and deeper connections with colleagues.
