This needs assessment report quantifies key challenges facing Colorado’s visual artists and identifies potential solutions to those challenges. The information will help Colorado Artists, other arts organizations and local cultural agencies better understand and collectively respond to the needs of the state’s creative community.

This report about YouthReach's 2008 programming shares student completed surveys evaluating the effectiveness and success of YouthReach programs. We find namely, that the majority of students who participated have better feelings towards themselves, find themselves caring more about others, and feel more capable of making friends after completing one semester of the program.

This article reviews the concept of cultural governance analyzing three cultural districts: the Scientific and Cultural Facility District (SCFD) in Colorado; the Metropolitan Zoological Park and Museum District (MZPMD) in Missouri; the Allengheny Regional Asset District (ARAD) in Pennsylvania. The author highlights the importance of strategic coalitions, stable funding mechanisms (i. e. sales taxes), effectiveness of regional governance, and of institutionalization of public funded programs.

This study [prepared for the Colorado Council on the Arts and Humanities] is an update of the 1983 report on the Economic Impact of the Arts in Colorado. The presentation parallels that report to give public policy makers a means of comparison in the temporal dimension. The study reports the results from various surveys of arts organizations and audiences. The focus of these surveys is two-fold: (1) to qualitatively describe the organizations and their audiences and (2) to quantitatively measure the impact of these organizations on the Colorado and local area economies.

This report provides statistical data and analysis of resources and challenges impacting the arts and cultural sector in Maricopa County, Arizona along with comparative data of nine other benchmark regions to aid in understanding characteristics that affect arts and culture.
