Originally from New York, Scott has been producing, directing and choreographing musical theatre nationally and internationally for over 33 years. He is currently the Artistic Producer of TheatreWorks Florida. In 2010 & 2012, TheatreWorks Florida's productions of The Great American Trailer Park Musical and Little Shop of Horrors won many top awards at the Orlando Fringe Theatre Festival including "Best In Fest". Other credits include: Rock of Ages, Hands on A Hardbody and Legally Blonde: The Musical (all 3 musicals were Central Florida regional premieres). In 2017, Scott began planning for an arts and military community outreach program for TheatreCares at TheatreWorks, resulting in the 2018 inaugural theatre workshop group of Vet Voices. He is also currently an adjunct professor for Florida Southern College Dept. of Theatre and Dance (Lakeland, FL).
Scott's original show designs for the stage include: Journey Into Jungle Book, Future Fantasia and Tapestry for the Walt Disney World Company and Stories of Christmas for Universal Orlando Resort.
Scott owns and operates ImaginationWorks dedicated to the design and rental of Audrey 2 puppets, the man-eating plant from Little Shop of Horrors. ImaginationWorks is endorsed by the NY show licensing company, MTI, as an official southeastern rental facility. Audrey2.com
