Jordan Lohf (Private Sector Initiative Intern, Americans for the Arts) is currently a student at the University of Iowa completing majors in Communication Studies and Journalism and Mass Communication; a minor in Art History; and certificates in Fundraising and Philanthropy Communication, Nonprofit Management, Entrepreneurial Management, Leadership Studies, and Museum Studies. Born and raised in Iowa (yes, she loves corn; no, she did not grow up on a farm or in a small town), she has never been west of Nebraska, but has spent time in nine countries outside the US. One of her passions in life is travel writing, so she hopes her career will eventually lead her abroad. Her favorite art forms are music and contemporary visual arts, particularly large installations and public art. Last summer she interned for Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA where she also fell in love with theatre. In the future, she wants to pursue development for museums or large performing arts centers.
