Jamie Haft is assistant director of Imagining America: Artists and Scholars in Public Life, where she is organizing campus leadership teams within its consortium of more than 100 colleges and universities and directing story-based campaigns in multiple media. Recently, her writing was featured in Animating Democracy’s national collection of trend papers about art and social change, and she conceptualized and produced a documentary web series. Haft is also an ensemble member of Roadside Theater, where she is directing strategies for integrating its signature live practice with the power of technology in order to invigorate art and social justice practice for a new generation. She holds an M.S. in public relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and a B.F.A. in theater from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
