Laura Kochman is the Communications Manager for Mural Arts Philadelphia, the nation's largest public art program, founded on the belief that art ignites change. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama, and a BA from Emory University, where she was the winner of the Sudler Prize in the Arts. Her poetry, nonfiction, and book reviews have appeared in Anomaly, Sixth Finch, CutBank, Tarpaulin Sky Magazine, The Atlas Review, and others, and her first full-length book, The Bone and the Body, came out from BatCat Press in 2015.
