The inclusion of the dialogue between Harvey White and Sen. Stan Rosenberg at the recent Americans for the Arts Annual Convention in San Diego is a great addition to this edition of the bi-annual Arts Education Blog Salon.

As a San Diegan who has participated in meetings with White and others around the STEM to STEAM issue, I’ve often been frustrated by a lot of talk that has little to do with what can actually be done to move the needle on innovative workforce development.

We’ve had full discussions about changing curriculum and the education system, but never invited a school superintendent let alone an administrator to the meeting. I’ve heard people pass the buck and say, “Well I just come up with these ideas, and you guys need to figure out how to implement them.”

What I liked in their tete-a-tete was the businessman who cares about the issue and knows what will move other business folks to action, talking to the political official who cares about the issue and can move decisionmakers to action trying to come up with a solution together.

I think the idea of examining investments in workforce development as an issue of incentivizing the business community makes complete sense.

To say, a change in the way we report the investment in people the way we report the investment in equipment could mean the difference between talking about building a better workforce and actually creating one, is just the kind of discussion I think we need all across the public and private sectors.

Kudos to Senator Rosenberg and Mr. White for hashing out the issue and coming together in a collaborative spirit.

Now, I challenge you both to use the influence you have as leaders of your respective fields to make it so!

As the chair of the San Diego Alliance for Arts Education, I’d like to hear from you how we can help.

Anggraini Batik Art & Culture has been around 65 th last and we are is Organization the Family.
History of Anggraini Batik Art & Culture be divided into 3 time :

Batik Art is the Art of drawing on fabric using Wax Base Materials.

1. In the years 1965-1990, 15 years Anggraini Batik Art & Culture experiencing the production
period. At that time Anggraini Batik Art & Culture produces many handy craft ( made hand )

The question is why the era of 1965-1980 Anggraini Batik Art & Culture experiencing the

Society at the time living in Indonesia especially Java ethnic live in traditional era. So
Anggraini Batik Art & Culture can live an develop in accordance with the era.

3. In the years 2001- until now we Anggraini Batik Art & Culture strive to maintain and preserve
the Batik Art & Culture despite the fact that our young generation from ages 12-30 years the
majority have no one willing to learn, study, inherited Batik Art & Culture.

Basic Formation Of Organization Conservation Batik Art & Culture ( Anggraini Batik Art & Culture ).

Batik Art & Culture is the Traditional Art of drawing on fabric using Wax Base Materials. Some
people think Batik Art & Culture of ethnic belong to him, people outside the ethnic groups is very difficult to learn, study, inherited. While time continues to run, the continuously changing
Batik Art & Culture Traditional itself began to be abandoned. We think one day Batik Art & Culture will be extinct from Human Civilization. Because our young generation of interest to learn, study, inherited Batik Art & Culture already very much reduced. Depart from the fact we
minded & believe Batik Art & Culture Traditional is Universal All people Can learn, study, inherited so as not disappear from Human Civilization, and our Collective Responsibility to maintain & Preserve Batik Art & Culture Traditional is not extinct and could be developed into
unlimited creativity.

History Of Batik Art and Culture.

Batik history closely linked with the development of the Majapahit Kingdom in Java Land. So this Batik Art and Culture in Indonesia has been know since the time of Majapahit Kingdom and continue to grow the kingdom and the king of the next. The spread of this Batik Art and Culture belongs to the people of Indonesian and Java in particular trible is after the end of the 18 th century early 19 th century. Produced Batik of hand made until the 20 th century. While Batik Art and Culture is know only after world war 1 end / 1920. Batik Art is Art images on the fabric for garment which became family culture INDONESIA KING of old. Batik Art initially done only limited in the palace alone & process to dress the king & family & his Follower. Because many follower of the king who live outside the palace, the Batik Art was brought by the palace and carried them out in palace of each long Batik Art emulated by ordinary people to fill his spare time. Next Batik Art & Culture had been the royal family became Universal Art and

An overview of the Conservation effort.

Indonesia is the 3rd country in the world ( developing countries ), anything system doesn’t work a result Batik Art & Culture Traditional marginalized by itself from Human Civilization.

Turnover time of Traditional Society to modern Society makes us to change the mind of society
lifestyle, choice will be Art & Culture, enjoy to learn, study Art & Culture. Our Society are aware that the Batik Art & Culture Traditional is the Art of classic & Unique. Consciousness that
is limited to enjoying the Arts works, is not in Consciousness want to learn, study, inherited
maintain, preserve the Batik Art & Culture Traditional. Nothing is eternal human when changing
the younger generation our generation no one will be performers of Batik Art traditional. Batik Art Traditional will become a memory without a trace.

Conservation project Batik Art and Culture viewed from the standpoint ( Indonesia society ) of education awareness of the importance of art and culture, economic.

Logically the majority of young generation doesn’t get a good basic education resulting in lack of awareness of the importance of a work of Batik Art. Giving rise to a work of Batik Art was not able to generate economic for society itself.

Our Anggraini Batik Art and Culture would not blame the system doesn’t good, awareness in our society but the question is how much contribution Anggraini Art and Culture of Conservation Project Batik Art and Culture.

Therefore our expectation are very big on Conservation Batik Art with All Organization Conservation, community art, Public art in American society. Our Anggraini Batik Art and Culture open arms to cooperation, collaboration, exhibition ( Transfer skill, share free education Batik Art and Culture ). If we closed it will disappear but if we open the Batik Art and Culture Traditional will remain and still live to creativity is unlimited.

Why Anggraini Batik Art and Culture Offer Conservation Project in America Society.

America is the first Country in the world. Good Government, The System Work, Good Society. We strongly believe and hope that the Batik Art and Culture Traditional can live and thrive in America Society. The America Government, Society, Community Art, public Art can receive Batik Art and Culture Traditional Education because the society America Can Better appreciated the process of Batik Art and Culture. We Anggraini Batik Art and Culture very hope Cooperation, Collaboration, Exhibition ( Conservation Project ) Anggraini Batik Art and Culture with All Organization Conservation, Community Art, Public Art in America Society can be immediately implemented.

Consevation Project Batik Art and Culture viewed from the standpoint (American Society) of education, awareness of the importance of art and culture, economic.

Logically the majority of young generation American get a good basic education. Giving rise to awareness of the importance of a work of Art and Culture that will make an impact for the Community Economic America own.
